As Türkiye’s most established winter tourism center, Uludağ transforms into a fairytale landscape in winter.

  • What to Do: Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, chairlifts, and snowmobile tours. Even if you don’t ski, you can sip hot chocolate at slopeside cafes and savor the classic sausage-in-bread (sucuk-ekmek).

Tips & Warnings:

  • Clothing: Even in summer, bring a light cardigan or windbreaker; temperatures at the peak are always 8–10°C colder than central Bursa.

  • Winter Travel: Prefer taking the cable car (Teleferik) during winter months. Snow tires and tire chains are mandatory to pass the gendarmerie checkpoint when driving.
