Koza Han, Silk Shopping and Masjid Courtyard

Built by Bayezid II in 1491, Koza Han is a popular stop in the Historic Khans District. Its two-storey courtyard surrounds a historic prayer hall and fountain, where visitors can relax in the shade of plane trees.

Shawls, scarves and special woven fabrics made from world-famous Bursa silk are sold in dozens of shops on the upper floor of the inn. It is the ideal place in the region to feel the historical texture, examine the unique silk products and have a traditional Turkish coffee break.

Grand Bazaar, Long Bazaar and Local Shopping

The Grand Bazaar, which starts just north of the Grand Mosque, and the Long Bazaar connected to it, are the centre of trade traditions that have survived uninterrupted from the Ottoman Empire to the present day. These historical streets, which have maintained their vitality for centuries, are not only a shopping area but also a living cultural museum.

Jewelers, famous Bursa towel shops, knife shops and souvenir shops lined up along the bazaar offer rich options to local and foreign guests. While walking here, you can easily find chestnut candies, towels, textile products and handicraft souvenirs unique to Bursa, and enjoy the atmosphere of the historical bazaar to your heart's content.
