By Otel Nilüfer – Hospitality Respectful to the Future and Nature
Adopting a sustainability approach that values the environment, local culture, and people to leave a more livable world for future generations.
At By Otel Nilüfer, we combine the high service quality we offer in the hospitality sector with our responsibilities toward the environment and society. By fully meeting the criteria of the Sustainable Tourism Program led by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), we take active steps toward preserving natural resources and energy efficiency.
Environmental and Energy Management
Our core principles applied to minimize the environmental impact of our operations:
Energy Efficiency: Energy-saving LED lighting, smart climate control systems, and A+++ class equipment are used throughout our hotel.
Water Conservation: Flow-regulated aerators and water-saving fixtures are preferred in all wet areas to prevent unnecessary water consumption.
Waste Management & Recycling: Paper, plastic, glass, and metal wastes are sorted at the source and sent to licensed recycling facilities. Chemical usage and plastic consumption are kept to a minimum.
Social and Local Contribution (Cultural & Economic Sustainability)
We view sustainability not only as protecting nature, but also as supporting local development:
Local Production and Supply: In our kitchen and buffet offerings, we prioritize supporting local producers in and around Bursa, opting for fresh regional products.
Fair Employment: We respect the rights of our employees and provide an egalitarian, safe working environment based on continuous training.
Preserving Cultural Heritage: We add value to regional tourism by promoting Bursa’s rich historical and cultural heritage to our guests.
